About this Retreat
Sri Hemkund Sahib — the serene Sikh gurudwara set beside the glacial Hemkund Lake at 4,329 meters — is one of the most spiritually rewarding treks in the Char Dham region. It is believed that Guru Gobind Singh meditated here in a previous birth.
This Hemkund Sahib yatra package begins at Govindghat, where the 19-km trek (or pony/palki ride) passes through the beautiful Valley of Flowers trail and lush alpine meadows before reaching the gurudwara.
Combine your yatra with Badrinath Dham darshan, a visit to Mana Village, and comfortable overnight stays in Joshimath and Govindghat. We also arrange Kedarnath tour packages with helicopter booking for those covering the full circuit.
