10-Day Ladakh Bike Trip Itinerary

Day 1-2: Arrival in Leh & Acclimatization

Arrive at Leh airport. Complete rest for altitude acclimatization. Visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace in the evening. Bike briefing and gear distribution.

Day 3: Leh to Khardung La to Nubra Valley

Ride to Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft) - one of the highest motorable passes. Descend to Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery. Camel ride at Hunder sand dunes.

Day 4: Nubra to Turtuk

Ride to Turtuk village (Pakistan border). Explore Balti culture. Return to Nubra for overnight stay.

Day 5: Nubra to Pangong Tso

Ride through Shyok Valley to Pangong Lake (14,270 ft). Camp beside the enchanting blue lake. This route is less crowded than the traditional one.

Day 6: Pangong to Hanle

Ride to Hanle via Changthang Plateau. Visit Hanle Observatory (India's highest astronomical observatory).

Day 7: Hanle to Tso Moriri

Ride to Tso Moriri Lake. This high-altitude lake is less touristy. Camp by the lake shore.

Day 8: Tso Moriri to Leh

Return ride to Leh via Upshi. Evening free for souvenir shopping at Leh Market.

Day 9: Leh to Kargil

Ride to Kargil via Fotu La Pass (highest pass at 13,479 ft). Visit Kargil War Memorial at Dras.

Day 10: Kargil to Srinagar Departure

Ride to Srinagar (6 hours). Visit Mughal Gardens if time permits. Departure from Srinagar airport.
